Junior Development
The top five riders in these categories and age-groups will be extended USAC Regional Development Camp invitations: Category 2: 15/16 male, 15/16 female, 17/18 male, 17/18 female. The invitations may be used for 2014 or 2015 camps. Athletes that are 14 years old must qualify through the 15/16 category. The camp introduces athletes to USA Cycling’s development pathway while also providing USA Cycling the opportunity to evaluate talent. Each USA Cycling Regional Talent ID Camp includes five days of activities, including field testing and other selection activities. Camp staff includes the camp manager, lead coach, assistant coaches, athlete alumni, mechanics, and ride leaders. Information about the camps can be found here: http://www.usacycling.org/regional-talent-id-camps.htm
